Clinical Thai Bodywork or CTB has now evolved into a comprehensive approach for restoring pain-free movement and CTB became an acronym for Coaching The Body™.

Finding no ready-made solutions, Chuck began a long journey that led him through an in-depth study of trigger point therapy, neuroscience, functional anatomy, and many styles of bodywork.

The result of his efforts was CTB, which contests the common assumption that most pain is a result of injury or disease. Trigger point therapy, according to Chuck Duff, has shown conclusively that this is false. Most pain is caused by trigger points in muscles, pain-experience is brain generated and not determined by tissue damage.

Resolving trigger points with Thai Massage techniques in combination with his knowledge of functional anatomy, neuroplasticity and neuroscience, is the main focus of Chuck Duff’s CTB work in order to restore pain-free movement.
