It’s basically a Do-It-Yourself treatment, but it can also be given by a therapist.

The goal of Exerssage is to relieve tension of the jaws, and of the muscles of the head, face, and neck, primarily aimed at preventing premature facial aging and re-toning the face.

It’s a well-defined practice consisting of Self-Massage, breathing practices, and twenty-four cranial and Facial Yoga postures.

The treatment also incorporates acupuncture pulsing and contouring by use of sound, focused on tackling the sources of facial aging.

An Exerssage treatment session is structured along three different phases:

  1. Self-Massage to firm the cheeks, toning the area under the eyelids, relax jaw tension, and balance a crooked smile;
  2. Exercises to reshape the eyelids, correct frowning, apply forehead lifting, and to relax other tensions;
  3. Toning under the chin and neck, relaxation of the forehead, and defining lip shape.

The Face Massage is complemented by long-held Facial Yoga postures to further reinforce re-positioning of the face.
