In addition, the Gaia Method merges knowledge and techniques from psychology, science, the alternative and spiritual world, Shamanism, Tantra, and Yoga.

The primary aim of the method is to help people get rid of blockages, patterns, trauma and beliefs that disconnect them from themselves and their essence by welcoming rejected emotional parts to be expressed and integrated in a compassionate and loving way.

De-Armoring sessions may include massage-like touch, trigger point work, acupressure, Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Massage, meridian work, breathwork, energy work, sound (such as tuning forks or singing bowls), physiotherapy, muscle stretching, movement (inspired by Tai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga, among others), and cognitive therapy such as sexology counseling, couples counseling, and psychotherapy.
