Nuru Massage is a Sensual Erotic Massage modality with body-to-body contact and the question is if it’s legal to give or receive a Nuru Massage, especially in view of a session being finished with a so-called Happy Ending or even Full Service.
To be honest, it’s not so easy to answer this question because it depends on the laws of a country or even state, province, or city of how they classify Nuru Massage. Nevertheless, some observations and guidelines can be given, which we will discuss here below.
When Nuru Massage is considered an “adult service” or an outright “sexual service” in a certain place (country, state, province, or city), it depends on the applicable local laws whether commercial adult and sexual services are allowed or not.
For instance, in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Germany, and in the UK, offering paid sexual services (i.e. prostitution) is allowed under certain conditions, so in whatever form Nuru Massage is offered (with or without “extra services”) there will be no legal issues in either giving or receiving a Nuru Massage if the massage is offered by a legit business and according to local regulations and restrictions, such as ensuring a practice that is professional, safe, ethical, and hygienic and/or is only offered by certified or licensed practitioners.
Yet, even in the situation mentioned above local laws of a city or province may be somewhat different so it’s always important to know the details about each particular place in a country. Typically, the legality of the Nuru service and the restrictions that apply will be mentioned on the website of a professional provider.
In countries like Canada, Australia, and the United States it depends very much on the region (territory, state, or province) where the practitioner operates if Nuru Massage is legal or not (or is considered a sexual service or not), which typically comes with regulations on how and in what form the massage is offered and performed and by whom.
Mind also that there are countries or parts of countries that have a total ban on any type of Sensual Erotic Massage service, in which case Nuru Massage is of course included in the definition.
If Nuru Massage — in a certain locality — is considered “just a massage service” or a legitimate form of therapeutic massage, there may be no legal issues unless the practitioner would also offer Happy Ending services or other sexual services (in case offering paid sexual services is outlawed), either solicited or unsolicited. So, in these cases it’s of utmost importance not to engage in explicit sexual acts.
At any rate, whether Nuru Massage is illegal or not can be a daunting question. Sometimes the laws about massage therapy are rather complicated. For instance, a Sensual Massage may be legal if parts of the body are draped or clothed, if there’s no sexual intercourse (such as is the case in Japan), or if only 90% of the body is massaged, if both parties agree on sexual contact (mutual consent), or only when sensual erotic massages are offered in an official and legal brothel (and not in a common massage parlor or spa establishment), and so on.
Then again, sometimes a Nuru Massage is only legal if it’s given by a professional certified and licensed massage therapist. But even in these cases it depends on the local laws “how far” a practitioner or therapist is allowed to go. Sometimes certain sexual services are allowed if they qualify under the umbrella of “medical service” or “therapeutic service” and are not intended for sexual gratification.
It’s also important to determine if the term Nuru Massage is just used as a cover label for sexual services. This is not uncommon for outcall or escort services through which Nuru Massage is offered (usually by non-professional and unlicensed massage practitioners). In general, it’s not difficult to discern that in many cases the label “Nuru Massage” stands for a paid sexual service, either delivered as a hand-job, orally, or as a Full Service (that is, including sexual penetration), which may pose a legal problem depending on the country or state where these services are offered or consumed.
All by all, it’s a bit of a “Nuru jungle” out there. The best advice I can give is to meticulously check on the applicable laws on sexual offences in the place you want to receive a Nuru Massage and check if the Nuru Massage provider you’re interested in complies with the given law.
