The normal procedure in any paid massage session is that there’s a giver (the massage therapist) and a receiver (the client). Yet, there’s also another kind of massage procedure, called Mutual Massage (or Mutual Touch Massage), which is just what the phrase implies, meaning that it’s about a commercial i.e. professional massage session during which you and the masseur/masseuse will take turns in massaging each other or even simultaneously massage each other.

Although Mutual Massage or Two-Way Massage is not necessarily an Erotic Massage treatment session, the practice is that it actually in most cases is, usually offered by massage practitioners/therapists and massage parlors that offer sensual erotic massages.

In fact, Mutual Massage is an addition to the pleasure experience of the client, in the sense that the client is being allowed to touch the body of the giver which makes for a more interesting and intimate exchange. Typically, the massage will be carried out as a (partly) unclothed session, which sometimes also includes that the erogenous zones can be touched/massaged. Yet, keep in mind that what parts of the body can be touched (and how) depend on the preliminary agreement between the client and the massage practitioner.

Theoretically, a Mutual Massage session can consist of any type of massage treatment modality, but it’s common that it just involves a simple Sensual Oil Massage, one that can’t do physical harm to the massage practitioner. One needs to realize that the client is usually not a professional masseur, so it would not be wise to let them engage in a more complicated and technical massage modality such as Thai Massage, Acupressure Massage, or Lomi Lomi Massage, to give some examples. Instead, the professional masseuse/masseur will gently guide the client in how, when, and what to touch i.e. massage.

In addition, as said, it’s rather about the sensual erotic pleasure experience, and not meant as a therapeutic massage that aims at alleviating or curing back pains, neck pains or knee pains, and so on. Nevertheless, for those clients who have little opportunity or practice with sensually and gently touching another person it can be a real important and relaxing experience to learn how to communicate through exchanging intimate and pleasant touch. In that sense, Mutual Massage is actually almost a kind of therapeutic activity.
