Ajarn Pichest Boonthumme, also lovingly known as the “Chain Smoking Thai Massage Master,” was undoubtedly one of the most famous Thai Massage teachers of the past decades. Many Western Thai Massage instructors and students have been influenced by his teachings and style of practicing Thai Massage.

Ajarn Pichest passed away in 2023, but the teachings continue honoring his lineage. The school goes under various names: Pichest & Phawat Thai Massage Training Center, Pichest Boonthumme Thai Massage or Boonthumme Thai Massage School Chiang Mai.
