In this post, we take a look at the various traditional practices and treatments involved for Thai women who want to have children.
In the most general sense, a Thai woman would:
- regularly take Thai Massage and Thai herbal therapies as a form of maintenance, strengthening, and preventive medicine;
- follow certain dietary regimes, that is, consume proper food and herbal concoctions;
- regularly meditate and pray to gain strength for both body and mind, which in most cases in Thailand would involve adhering to Buddhist practices.
However, if she would encounter difficulties becoming pregnant, may that be due to psychological issues or perhaps because of sexual or genital malfunctions, she may engage in Thai traditional therapeutic treatments that can help resolve fertility issues.
In Thailand, there are several traditional treatment modalities that can address fertility issues. Think of treatments like Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Massage, Karsai Nei Tsang Genital Detox Massage, Thai Womblifting, Yok Thong, or Thai Ovary Massage, to name some.
The treatment modalities mentioned above are not only applied in the pre-pregnancy period but sometimes also in the postpartum period to heal discomforts or health issues that came up due to childbirth, but also as a prevention for possible postpartum ailments later in life.
At any rate, think of treating scar tissue, repositioning a dislocated uterus or other dislocated internal organs, soothing swellings and pains, correcting pelvis instabilities, or massage to support emotional release, and the like.
