The genital massage treatment services and training courses industry in Thailand is quite extensive, and in this article we bring together all the various treatments and modalities in order for you to have an idea what it’s really all about.
In fact, to be clear, in this post we’re not addressing sexual services in the sense of erotic pleasures, sensual erotic massages, or a Happy Ending Massage, but rather serious sexual organs, sexual energy, and genital detox therapeutic treatments.
Of course, with a subject like this there are probably always grey areas, and sometimes pleasure and healing don’t necessarily exclude each other. In fact, (sexual) pleasure can certainly also be a form of healing.
In any case, that’s exactly why we write this article, just to give you more insight in what’s what, and what’s not in this pretty vast domain.
Okay, having said all that, let’s take look at the various genital massage and treatment modalities currently practiced and taught in Thailand.
Karsai Nei Tsang
Karsai Nei Tsang is a traditional form of therapeutic genital healing and detox massage exercised in Thailand and applied for both men and women.
Karsai was popularized by Master Mantak Chia, who integrated the practice in his so-called Universal Healing Tao System. The modality is closely related to Chi Nei Tsang, which is a therapeutic healing massage for the abdominal area and internal organs.
The goal of Karsai is to stimulate and heal the genital system by removing obstructions in the genital area. Karsai Nei Tsang aims at curing issues associated with the sexual organs, frequent and difficult urination, impotency, painful menstruation or painful intercourse, painful scar tissue after giving birth, and low sexual libido.
Additionally, Karsai Genital massage is said to alleviate lower back pains, while improving body alignment and a better general vitality.
Karsai Nei Tsang training Courses are mainly given in the Chiang Mai area, as are treatments.
Chi Nei Tsang
Like Karsai Nei Tsang, Chi Nei Tsang (or Thai Abdominal Chi and Internal Organs Massage) is an ancient healing touch and massage modality (further) developed and updated by Master Mantak Chia. Chi Nei Tsang integrates ancient Chinese, Thai Massage and Taoist meditation techniques which focus primarily on the abdominal region.
The core concept of Chi Nei Tsang is the belief that unresolved emotional issues are stored in the digestive system and that poor “emotional digestion” is an important cause for discomforts or ill health.
The techniques used in Chi Nei Tsang aim to clear energy blockages within the abdominal area and the internal organs, including the genital organs. It’s here where we observe the parallels with Karsai Nei Tsang (Genital Detox Massage). In fact, Karsai is a subset of Chi Nei Tsang, going deeper, focusing particularly on the genital system, sexual energy, and sexual alchemy.
Chi Nei Tsang training courses are predominantly offered in Chiang Mai. Chi Abdominal Massage treatments are mostly found in Chiang Mai, but they are increasingly offered in other places in Thailand also (like on the southern islands, such as Koh Phangan and Koh Samui).
Testicles Massage (Jabkasai)
Testicles Massage or Jap Kasai has been practiced in Thailand for centuries. The treatment is done directly on and around the testicles. The penis, in fact, isn’t touched.
The idea is to stimulate the reproductive function and internal organs. It’s a healing modality with a focus on resolving impotency, Erectile Dysfunction (ED), frequent urination, Premature Ejaculation (PE), and fertility problems.
Additional benefits are relief of lower back pains, poor blood circulation, and problems with one’s digestion and metabolism.
Jap Kasai training courses can be found in Chiang Mai (rare official training modality). Although rather scarce, (serious) treatment offerings are available in Chiang Mai and Bangkok mostly.
Uterus Massage (Yok Thong)
Uterus Massage or Yok Thong works directly on the uterus and ovaries. The therapeutic treatment is used, for instance, to resolve problems with urination and cystitis (bladder inflammation).
As Yok Thong can be translated literally to “lifting the stomach” it’s basically a treatment that lifts and re-positions the lower abdominal organs having a positive effect on the prevention of gynecological discomforts or illnesses in general.
Yok Thong can also have positive effects on lower back pains and help stimulate blood circulation and metabolism.
Uterus Massage training courses and treatments are mostly to be found in the Chiang Mai (Northern Thailand) area.
Thai Womblifting
Traditional Thai Womb Lifting is a ancient Lanna Northern Thai healing modality having strong parallels with Yok Thong (Uterus Massage).
The practice involves hot sea salt crystals in a clay pot wrapped in medicinal leaves and applied as a compress. It subsequently involves acupressure on the abdomen, legs, buttocks and back. The uterus is manipulated directly with the hands on the abdomen. The treatment is applied for both post-natal health and for fertility problems, and for overall feminine health and wellbeing.
Quite similar treatments are used for prostate problems of men.
Thai Womblifting is a typical Lanna Folk Healing modality of which both training courses and treatments are almost only to be found in the Chiang Mai region.
Yoni Massage and Lingam Massage
Yoni Massage, also called Yonic Massage is a specific type of Tantra Massage that predominantly directs focus on the vulva and vagina.
Lingam Massage, its counterpart, focuses primarily on the male genitalia. Both massage types are often accompanied by a full body massage.
Although not a Thai Healing Arts modality, there are Tantra courses given in Thailand (of which some also offer learning how to give Yoni massages and Lingam massages). Most training however is offered by foreign (non-Thai) teachers. Yoni and Lingam Massage treatments and services offerings are more common to be found in Thailand.
It’s said that this type of Tantric therapeutic massage is helpful with healing of, for instance, fertility problems and sexual traumas, experiencing ones one sacred sexuality, relief of stress, depression or anxiety, but of late it’s also increasingly positioned as just a “pleasure massage,” the client being able to experience multiple orgasms throughout the session or just simply to have a Happy Ending.
