Wands are rods, staves, or sticks that can be held with one hand, and made of wood, metal, PVC, or plastic, among other materials.

Historically, specially carved and inscribed wands — typically made from wood or stone — were used in mystical, witchcraft, sorcery, magical, spiritual, and religious practices, or owned as a sign of power or status.
