Girlfriend Experience Services (GFE) — or Professional Girlfriend Services — are transactional commercial services in which an erotic and/or romantic relationship is simulated, that is, the client pays a sex worker or GFE service provider to pretend to be their girlfriend during the session. A GFE session may take just an hour, but it can also span several hours, the evening or overnight, a day, 24-hours, or a weekend; it depends on the GFE provider what exactly is possible or not, and on how deep or large the wallet of the client is. As for the latter, do mind that GFE services — certainly those that take up more than just an hour or so — are quite expensive.
GFE services may be offered by erotic massage parlors, brothels, and strip clubs, but it’s perhaps more common that they are offered by escort bureaus, independent erotic service providers, or independent sex workers. As a rule, GFE services involve a more personal, intimate, intellectual, and emotional interaction than traditional call girl, escort, or prostitution services. It’s about enjoying a kind of holistic companionship and finding a connection.
The focus of the GFE period is not on just having sex (which is sometimes not even part of the service), but rather on having a more personal, meaningful, and complete experience. For clients it can be a means to rediscover or enjoy intimacy, increase personal wellbeing, stimulate emotional release, a time for genuine relaxation and companionship or achieving sexual healing, or even a means of learning how to “behave” in an intimate, romantic relationship without any of the commitments involved. In a way, GFE services have quite some things in common with so-called Surrogate Partner Therapy.

At any rate, quite a lot of proficiency is required from the “professional girlfriend.” She needs to have certain practical skills and competencies, be savvy, clean, social, cultured, classy, well-groomed, and able to talk about many topics in a meaningful way.
The details of a particular GFE service vary widely from GFE service provider to GFE service provider, and may include a variety of services depending on the abilities of the GFE worker and the agreed “package,” such as sensual massage services, mutual masturbation, Happy Ending and Full Service, cooking services, dating, cuddling, kissing, bathing together, hiking, watching TV together, dinner companion, conversation or discussion partner, and whatnot.
It’s basically up to the preferences, personality, and emotional or intellectual needs of the client, what type of GFE service provider would be the most appropriate. As for the service provided, discretion and professionalism are important in GFE services. In fact, both clients and the GFE workers value their privacy high, which makes GFE services not only confidential but also one that needs a respectful approach.
