Cunnilingus, informally called “eating pussy,” is an oral sex act in which a person stimulates the vulva (or sometimes also the beginning of the vaginal canal) of another by using the mouth, tongue, and lips. It’s the counterpart of Fellatio, which involves orally stimulating the penis.
During Cunnilingus, the clitoris is often intensively stimulated because it’s usually the most sexually sensitive part of the vulva. Stimulating the clitoris may also lead to a woman becoming highly sexually aroused and achieving an orgasm.
Cunnilingus can be sexually arousing for the receiver and giver, and may be part of sexual foreplay to stimulate sexual arousal before other sexual activities, which may include vaginal or anal intercourse. It may also be an intimate sexual act by itself.
The giver of Cunnilingus may use the fingers to open the vulva’s outer lips to enable the tongue to better reach the clitoris (or vaginal canal), or the female may separate the labia or the legs for her partner.
Mind that not everybody is charmed by performing Cunnilingus (or receiving it) because of negative feelings, shame, or sexual inhibitions.
A very, very small number of women is able to perform Autocunnilingus, which involves oral stimulation of one’s own vulva.
